My Duchess!

I'm so excited today i bought a gorgeous new bike! 'She' is a lovely shade of plum with a basket up front! I cant wait until the weather gets better and I can take her out for a spin!

Wow - I cant believe how much has happened since I last posted!

Since I have in fact been married for 18 months, and now have a gorgeous little boy Rory it seems like forever ago that I was looking for the perfect bridesmaid dress. It also seems so insignificant now!!!???? At the time planning a wedding was all consuming and I wanted ever little detail to be perfect. Was it? Well, It was a wonderful day, I married the love of my life and best friend and spent was the day and evening laughing and dancing with friends, eating great food and generally beaming from ear to ear. The bridesmaids dresses were not perfect. I had them made for my bridesmaids all in Australia and they were all way to big for them, requiring last minute alterations and quite an expense. My beautiful bridesmaids did an amazing job looking after me on the day and here are some stunning photos taken by our fabulous photographer Kelly Tunney.

The search for the perfect bridesmaid dress......

I don't know whether I'm just fussy or i just cant make decisions but i'm really struggling to find the perfect dress for my 3 gorgeous bridesmaids for my spring wedding. Here are some ideas i've been toying with......

The first are lovely dresses from Two Birds Bridesmaids. They have stores in the US, London UK and Sydney Australia. I'm thinking the silver or perhaps black?

The second is a cute vintage style dress from courtesan boutique. I have ordered a sample in grey and have my fingers crossed that is looks as great on as it does online! I think it would look pretty with black lace tights and satin peep-toes.

May Bank Holiday Weekend

The weather has be gorgeous this week, proper short sleeves kinda stuff which always gets me excited about the promise of summer. It might be my fault that this weekend is pants, as I commented during the week to some fellow health students " I wonder if the warm weather is here to stay". The response was not so positive, comments focusing around the fact the weather was just taunting us, and would no doubt be dreary and probably rain on the weekend.

Its such a popular pass time, the weather, and I'm no doubt getting into the habit.

Unlucky or lucky it might seem, I'm working the night shift over the weekend so I wont be seeming much of the weather anyway. Today was great for sleeping, as my curtains and not the type designed to block out much!

I'm currently trying to decided if I should have breakfast or dinner, as my body is not really sure what time of the day it is, and my pj's are not helping with the confusion.

The other great news, is the last weekend with the little 306.

New wheels have arrived and I cant wait to go for a spin! Leather interior here I come.

I feel bad for the 306, I hope he goes to a nice new home and not the scrap heap!
